Project Team Overview

For a number of financial, legal and business reasons the Taylor’s first commercial project to be located at 350 Neelytown Road required setting up a new operating entity. This new entity would be named TBE- Montgomery, LLC (TBEM). For the Montgomery Project, the Management Team of TBEM has assembled a group of highly-experienced contractors with proven track records in projects of similar scope and scale. In addition Taylor sought out the most reputable engineers and legal advisors to provide the professional expertise to the project. They are as follows;

O'Neal Inc.

O’Neal Inc. is the Montgomery Project’s EPC contractor for the gasification and power island components. A privately-owned firm founded in 1975, with approximately 300 employees headquartered in Greenville, SC and additional offices in Charleston, SC, Atlanta, GA and Raleigh, NC. O'Neal completes engineering and construction for many diverse markets, including renewable energy, pulp and paper and power/energy. As current O’Neal Vice President and EPC Director, Don Miller has over 35 years experience in project delivery using design-build, design-bid-build and construction management methods, for large industrial projects up to $100,000,000. Mr. Miller completes projects on-time and within budget and has delivered many projects on a fast-track schedule, working safely and holding his workforce accountable to quality procedures.

Solar Turbines

Solar Turbines, a subsidiary of Caterpillar, is O’Neal’s power island subcontractor. Solar Turbines is a world leader in designing, manufacturing and servicing industrial gas turbine power system solutions for the oil & gas and power generation industries. Solar Turbines specializes in mid-range industrial gas turbines for use in power generation, natural gas compression, and pumping systems. It provides full product support, equipment supply, financing, plus installation and operation and maintenance capability.

Sanders Brothers, Inc.

Sanders Bros, Inc. is O’Neal’s gasification component subcontractor for the project. Sanders Brothers specializes in modular construction of industrial processes. They have successfully completed conversion of a number of chemical plants into a modular approach. These include hydrogen generation, petrochemical processes, and nuclear facilities.

TRF and ERIN Recycling

TRF and ERIN Recycling are responsible for the design and assembly of the municipal solid waste component of the Project, bringing over 20 years of combined experience in the municipal waste sorting and separating business. ERIN is a subsidiary of Premier Tech Systems, a private Canadian company that is recognized worldwide for its innovative and customized packaging, material handling, processing, and recycling solutions. Since 1987, TRF has developed and refined its proprietary technology (known as the “Taylor Sorting and Separating Process”) which sorts mixed waste streams and recycles the materials into useful products. TRF is a leader in the U.S. in construction and demolition (“C&D”) Recycling, that developed, built its first plant in 1987 in Montgomery, NY and has operated this 350/dry ton/day flagship recycling facility on a daily basis ever since.

A. Page and Associates - Allan Page - Power Specialist (consultant)

As principal and founder of A. Page & Associates, Mr. Page will provide the electrical expertise and technical knowledge for the grid interconnection and the power island for the Montgomery Project. During his 32 year career with CH Energy, Mr. Page was responsible for developing new business ventures such as electric generation companies, energy services companies, retail energy supply businesses (gas, electric, oil, propane), and energy trading organizations. In his position of Executive Vice President of Energy Resources - Development & Transition, Mr. Page developed a long-term strategy and restructured Central Hudson Gas and Electric into a holding company: the CH Energy Group, and also served as Central Hudson’s representative to the New York Power Pool’s (NYPP) Transition Steering Committee, which transitioned the NYPP into an Independent System Operator (NYISO).
