James W. Taylor, Jr.
President and CEO

As CEO and President of TBE, Mr. Taylor is an industry visionary and recognized pioneer in renewable energy and recycling methods. Mr. Taylor’s solid track record of reputable management and oversight has earned him respect from the community, and accolades from numerous other entities. Mr. Taylor directed Taylor Recycling Facility’s development and led the firm’s transformation from a tree service business into a leading recycler of construction and demolition debris. TRF is now referenced to others as a model facility within New York State in what is a highly regulated industry. Mr. Taylor was the main proponent for recycling, sorting and separating of the biomass/organic fraction from the waste stream at the NYS Public Service Commission’s Renewable Energy Portfolio Standard Proceeding.

Taylor and his two son’s and daughter were acknowledged by Phillips and Jordan Inc., the USACOE “2002 Contractor of the Year” award in recognition of their work at the Fresh Kills landfill after the World Trade Towers disaster. He has presented on biomass energy at Net Impact conference at Columbia University, the National County Managers Association in New Orleans, and other venues around Orange County, NY and the United States.

Biomass magazine recently ran a profile of Mr. Taylor and TBE.
