The Montgomery facility is designed to produce a medium caloric value gas which can be used as a fuel to power gas turbines and produce electric power. In the future, TBE's facility has the potential to be a biorefinery which produces fuels, power, and chemicals from biomass similar to the way that petroleum refineries produce multiple fuels and products from petroleum. This biorefinery system has the capability to produce many different products, thus maximizing the value derived from the biomass feedstock.
