TBE's Montgomery, NY facility marries four advanced technologies together into one system:
The TBE facility has been planned and designed to reduce health, safety and environmental impacts. The power generating facility (C) and the gasification facility (B) have been sited with balloon tests so that they cannot be seen from the surrounding area. All feedstock will be trucked on already existing routes directly into closed processing buildings (A-1 and A), eliminating noise and potential odors. High intensity recycling equipment already on site will also be brought indoors, reducing noise even further.
At some future date, the Montgomery facility may add a conversion system which will produce biofuels and chemicals from Syngas.
