Three generations of the Taylor family have been good corporate citizens of Montgomery for almost 20 years.
The Taylor family has made many charitable contributions to the Montgomery area, including the Orange County Arboretum (right) and two command cars to the Maybrook Fire District (not pictured). TBE conducts more than 300 tours of its green facility for local children annually.
Tayor Recycling Facility, TBE's affiliate-parent, currently employs 50 local people full-time. When completed, the biomass facility will provide approximately 50 new permanent jobs for plant operations and maintenance. We anticipate $96M of new building construction will be completed as early as the first quarter of 2010. Our application is now being considered by the Town of Montgomery's Board.
TBE anticipates paying $1.8M per year of new taxes to the community when the facility is fully operational. We expect our business to provide $1.2M in tax payments to the Valley Central School District; $275K to the Town of Montgomery; $275K to Orange County and $100K to the Maybrook Fire District.
Due Diligence without being asked.
The Taylor family has taken responsibility for siting the biomass facility so that it blends into a secluded part of the existing property; landscaping will render it virtually invisible from the surrounding area. All operations will take place in closed buildings to virtually eliminate noise, odors or other impacts.
